Project summary

HomeKit RGB Bridge connects compatible PC lighting to Apple Home using HAP-NodeJS and a local OpenRGB SDK server. It runs locally on Windows, without a cloud account or Homebridge. The experimental preview includes a browser-based control panel; its Windows portable package is under release review.

Technical focus

  • HomeKit on/off, color, and brightness controls
  • Local device discovery, friendly names, and bridge diagnostics
  • Persistent pairing identity and private QR/PIN reveal
  • Reconnect handling and coalesced lighting updates
  • Mock adapters, protocol tests, and Windows/Linux CI

What I’m learning

I’m practicing network protocols, hardware adapters, and testing integrations without physical devices. Color control has been tested on two Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 modules; broader hardware and Windows lifecycle checks remain pending. The screenshot uses mock mode. This is an experimental, uncertified HomeKit project.
